Anna Church manipulates ‘Planes of view’ in this series by creating unique compositions using a refined group of props and materials. Viewed together, the spectator is challenged to consider notions about the multifaceted nature of connectivity.
In their original form, these decommissioned mechanical molds could have been easy to overlook. They are now given a second life by being assembled into sculptural compositions by Church. Together the whole composition becomes greater than the sum of its distinct and separate parts.
